As with the family sessions, the baby sessions especially are unrushed and calm with plenty of time for everyone to get adjusted to the environment. During these sessions (which usually take approximately 1 to 2 hours) we would like to create a relaxed atmosphere and win the trust of your baby to ensure that we capture the best photos of your precious little one. We found that most babies are more relaxed and comfortable in their own surroundings, therefore all portrait sessions are on location (studio lighting and backdrops are mobile and set up in your home).
We can do white backgrounds (high key) with studio lighting, or more natural ‘environmental’ portraits which take in your own surroundings (using mainly natural light).
Sometimes things can go wrong, a child may be unwell or we may feel that we were not able to get the best out of someone on that day, in which case we will ask you for a second sitting at no extra charge.
We come to you and take beautiful pictures of you and your new baby in the comfort of your own home – no need to take your little one out.
Prices and Packages :
- Bump only : R400 for 30-40 minutes and includes a dvd with approx 20 high resolution photos.
- Family of 3 (or less) - usually mom, dad and baby : R500 for 1-2 hours and includes a dvd with approx 30-40 high resolution photos.
- Bump-to-Baby pacakge is a series of photo shoots at different times in your baby's first year which include :
- Bump only
- Newborn baby (first 10 days)
- Baby at 3-4 months (strong neck and smiling)
- Baby at 7-9 months (sitting/crawling with lots of expressions)
- Baby one year old (cake photos) together with mom/dad (mini family shoot)
All of the above sessions would individually amount to R2400, but if you buy this package we give it to you at ONLY R1900! That is a massive saving of R500 in total. Included in the price you will get 1 hour for every one of the 5 listed shoots above and a dvd with approx 20 high resolution photos of each session.
After the one year old shoot we can create a beautifully desinged photobook/coffeetable book telling the story of your baby's journey during the first year of his/her life. Something they can treasure forever! This would be at an additional cost (price upon request).
